There was far, far less programs back then. Shows like 77 Sunset Strip & Dobie Gillis were viewed by a much larger portion of the population. Some towns got 2 or 3 stations, at best. These shows were in a large part, the incubation process of the collective consciousness of society being moved into the hippie movement of the 60's.If you were alive back then, you understand what I am relating. If you were not alive back then, I suggest you write on a topic that you grew up in, and are familiar with. You had to experience the spirit of the air (so to speak) in order to understand the big picture at that time. If you did not experience that spirit,; You have no clue as to what you are writing, or, talking about.
