Book Cover Art of the Day: Cornell Woolrich's PHANTOM LADY
Unfortunately no credit is given for this excellent book art on the 1982 Ballantine Books edition. Notice the fog in the lights, and the shadow at the near side or bottom of the picture. And look how the author's name in red neon lights stands out. Spendidly noir.
Wish I had that one. Mine is not nearly as good but the story sure was.
